This Village is a natural port located close to international shipping routes in Thiruvananthapuram city and is the busiest fishing harbour. You can see hundreds of colourful fishing boats gathered on the harbour.The main attractions are:
- Rock cut Temple - temple which has rock cut sculptures from the 18th century.
- Vizhinjam Marine Aquarium - house of rich and protected marine life.
